SPAGHETTI DINNER-The St. Stanislaus School HASA Spaghetti Dinner will be held on Saturday, November 14th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the St. Stanislaus School Cafeteria.  The cost is $6 for adults, $5 for children age 5 to 10, and free for children under 5.  Tickets available at the school office and at the door.  Please come and support Catholic education.

FROZEN COOKIE DOUGH ORDERS- There has been a problem with the orders.  Delivery will be on Wednesday, December 2nd and will be available for pickup in the afternoon.

“MAGICAL NIGHT OF GIVING”! –The Holyoke Mall will be hosting a shopping night for local non-profit organizations on Sunday, November 22, 2009 from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m.  Make a $5.00 donation in advance to St. Stanislaus School for a special shopping pass and save with this ticket while enjoying an evening of spectacular special discounts, entertainment, special events, and a chance to win a $1,000. Holyoke Mall Gift Card, among many other prizes.  St. Stanislaus School will keep 100% of the proceeds from their advanced ticket sales.

BARNES & NOBLE BOOKFAIR-Our school is sponsoring a book fair at Barnes and Noble in Holyoke on Sunday, December 6, 2009.  A percentage of the sale will be donated to the school.  This is a chance to start your Christmas shopping early and help the school at the same time.  We are looking for volunteers to cover the “Gift Wrapping Table” at this book fair.  St. Stanislaus School will receive the profits from this “Table”.  Kindly fill out the form below if you have time to help us out on that Sunday.  Thank you for your support.

GIFT CARD FUNDRAISER orders are still being accepted until Wednesday, Nov. 18th.  These make great Christmas gifts.  Please call the school office if you need more forms sent home.

SANTA’S SECRET SHOP will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 1st and Wednesday, Dec. 2nd.   The “Secret Shop” is supervised by our parent volunteers who will help the children select their gifts for family and friends.  The information and a shopping budget envelope will be sent home shortly for your convenience.

GRADE 2 SECOND RECONCILIATION/PARENT ENRICHMENT SESSION will be held on Saturday morning, Nov. 21st. from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. or Monday, Nov. 23rd  from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

COLDER WEATHER-With the colder weather, we would like to remind the parents to send their children to school with a school sweater or school sweatshirt to be worn over their school uniforms in class.  Would you also make sure that your child wears a coat or jacket to school so that when they go out for recess, they are warmly dressed.  Thank you for your cooperation.

THANKSGIVING EVE LITURGY-All families are invited to join us on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. to give thanks for the many blessings we have received as individuals and families.  If your son/daughter would like to be a part of this special celebration and can participate in the Wednesday evening liturgy and you have not as yet sent in their name, would you kindly do so as soon as possible.  Thank you for your cooperation.

ANNUAL SCHOOL AUCTION-We are beginning preparations for our Annual School Auction.  We are looking for people, who would like to help us plan this event, to attend our first meeting on Monday, November 23rd at 7:00 p.m.  Please come and share your ideas.  

HOLYOKE CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL ENTRANCE EXAM will be administered on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 from 8:00 to 11:15 a.m. at the school in Chicopee.  Prospective ninth grade students who are interested in attending Holyoke Catholic in September 2010 are required to take the exam and should register as soon as possible.  There is a $25.00 test fee.  For more Information or to obtain a registration form, call Theresa Zaborowski, Admissions Director at 331-2480, ext. 1132 or go to the Admissions link on the school’s website www.HolyokeCatholicHigh.org.
