WELCOME BACK GRADE 6 ! ! ! ! ! !
Summer seemed all too short, but hopefully you had a lot of fun and enjoyed the lazy, hazy days of summer. It is always a plus to come back to school with a positive, refreshed attitude and I am looking forward to seeing you all again.
Grade 6 science will be dealing with Earth Science this year. Some of the topics will include, earthquakes, volcanoes, minerals and rocks, matter and its changes, oceanography and astronomy. You will be doing projects and reports on some of these topics. There will be experiments and demonstrations for all. These are always fun to do.
Grade 5 science will include such topics as; classifying organisms, cells, plants, weather, matter and space. You will have special assignments to do that go along with the topics and some experiments and demonstrations. We’ll have fun.
I’ll see you all on August 29th and I know we’ll have a great year!

I am so excited for this upcoming school year! I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful summer!
In 5th and 6th grade English we will be continuing to study the rules of grammar. I am looking forward to doing some fun projects with all of you! There will also be some interesting writing assignments throughout our journey! So i hope you all head back to St. Stan’s with your imaginations and creativity!
I can't wait to begin our year!
